Bamboo or some types of ivy will do well in water.
Reply:Peace Lily. These guys survive quit nicely in only water. There was a fad a few years ago where people would put a beta fish in a clear vase with a peace lily sticking out the top. I know this because I had two of the and I had them for years. You don't need the fish, the lily will still work.

Lucky bamboo (Dracenia) will also survive in only water.

I would imagine that any bog plant would work as well. Some of these are what you would find in aquariums.

Reply:check out navelets or a garden cneter and they will be able to give you specifics about all their plants
Reply:THERE ARE SEVERAL VINES THAT GROW IN WATER WITH NO DIRT. THE JEW VINES MOSTLY WILL GROW WITHOUT DIRT. SWEET POTATO VINES WILL GROW IN WATER. THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT WILL GROW WITHOUT DIRT. IM SURE THAT IF YOU CALL YOUR FLORIST SHE WILL BE GLAD TO TELL YOU SEVERAL OR THERE MUST BE SOMEWHERE HERE ON THE INTERNET TO FIND THAT ANSWER TO THE KIND. I KNOW THAT I OFTEN GROW THE JEW OR DEW VINE IN WATER.
Reply:Go to your local hydroponics shop and asked them the same question.
Reply:bamboo
Reply:Yes, lots. I recommend going to a fish store and buying an aquarium plant. But if you don't want to do that, try bamboo.make up
