Flower advise?

I have a 12x13 area that i am going to put lilacs in the back and then put flowers. What flower or anything that would complament the lilacs.
Flower advise?
Are you sure about lilacs? They spread quicky and smell nice but they also attract insects and can be messy. I would think about trying another shrub. A great flower that spread well is black-eyed susan's. Good Luck
Reply:hycynthias would and also daffidils
Reply:pick a color combination and then contrast shapes. lilacs are blue/lavendar and look great with yellows and sherberty oranges. more traditional gardens often use blue/yellow/white.
Reply:Lilacs happen to be one of my favorites. I have three lilac bushes in my yard. To answer your question: Depends on where you are. Try looking up www.1800TOPSOIL.com or calling 1-800-TOPSOIL to see if they service your area. They're national and they're good. They can tell you what's good for where you are and they usually deliver. Good luck with those lilacs.
Reply:If you would put a mixture of flowers with the lilacs like Daisy, pansy,Gerber's,baby's breath, roses.

I have worked in a flower shop and all those flowers that i have listed to look good together.

If you go to wal-mart or to a flower shop you can ask the clerks and sometimes they can give you really good advice too. Make sure you are open to new ideas because almost all flowers do look together.makeup tips
