I need flower ideas for my Summer wedding?

Okay, My bridemaids dresses are a cranberry red color. I really like the Stargazed pink lily- thats main flower. So i do want maybe a red or white rose in there but either a pale yellow or orange flower. My prob is i not to good with picking out a summer season flower. There are many but i dont want it to catch more attn than the lily. PLZ help whether its by name or a pic. My wedding is June 14th and i need to figure out what i want. *thank you for helping me out*

You can do almost anything. I'm using tons of tropicals. My main theme is Orchids (fuschia) but I'm also using Stargazers and a lot of greenery. I'm mixing orange Dahlias in as well. Look.

I agree that you need a shorter, stockier flower to compliment to boldness of the Stargazer and I think the Dahlia is a much better choice than roses or carnations which are just too . . . weddingish ha ha! I mean they're more ordinary and you can get Dahlias in many colors and varieties. Just a few options below:

Reply:I love, love Stargazer lilies... so beautiful and unexpected with the deep red dresses. Maybe some white stock or pale yellow freesias with them? Both flowers are smaller, more delicate, to play off the boldness of the lilies. (And all of them have a lovely smell.)





Somebody else mentioned really USING your florist for advice and recommendations. That's a great idea. You're paying them for the flowers... might as well get their advice. Just be aware that sometimes they will steer you to the more expensive flowers. Make sure they know what your budget is.
