Flower girls hair.....?

My flower girl is 10, kinda old but shes a doll!!

She has VERY long hair, down to her buttom.

I have no idea how i want to do her hair, i kinda want to do it myself because I am good with hair and while my hair person is doing my hair, i could be doing hers within reason. Her mom is also a hair dresser so she could do it..... ya thats probaly a better idea.

Any suggestions?

I'm also wondering about if she should have a veil or headpeice taria or flowers?

Any pictures of hair stlyes and headpeice ideas would be great!

thank you!
Flower girls hair.....?
Congratulations on your wedding. She sounds adorable!!

I think it would look great to have her hair just up on the sides, and curl it the rest of the way. It's simple and pretty, and also doesn't require her to sit in a chair for a long time getting something like an up-do.

So far as a headpiece. Perhaps a circlet of flowers or some artificial ones individually pinned in. I would avoid the veil so she doesn't look like she's attending her first communion. It's also a potential annoyance for her later. A tiara might be nice if you're going to go for the "mini bride" look.

I'd also talk it over with her mom. There may be some ways she's tried that work very well with the girl's hair that you will like.
Reply:My flower girl had a crown made of flowers that she wore in her hair. She left her hair down and just curled it so it was all curls and the flowers. Very pretty and simple.
Reply:For my flower girls, we curled their hair, pulled the front half of the hair back from their face (in a little ponytail), which left their hair loose down their backs and they had cute little headpieces (crowns) made of flowers. They looked adorable.
Reply:here are some picture ideas for you!

Reply:No veil looks too much like a first communion. Flower girls generally wear a circlet of flowers in their hair.

You need to relax and let the girl's mother take care of her hair. there is no need for you to micro manage every tiny detail no one will have a lick of fun at your wedding including and especially you if you do not relax. You say her hair is lovely so what do you care how she wears it.
Reply:one of my friends had her daughter as the flower girl and got her a taria and her mom made a small veil. it was really cute.

my flower girl just wore a headband with some flowers on it, also very cute, but she was younger.

Reply:long french braid woven into a twisted bun at the side of her head
Reply:I think it would look cute if you did her hair in nothing but spiral curls, and have her hair half up, half down and put a flower crown or flower tiara in her hair! My flower-girls hair was spiral curled in pigtails, but she was only about 5 years old.. so it was really cute!

Good luck to you, I hope I helped you out some!
Reply:you should have her have like drop curls or hair in an updo

i hope it helps
Reply:I sure hope you are not fretting over this. Remember her mom is a hairdresser. She has seen and I'm sure has done many styles for weddings. Let her help you out by doing a few pre-styles on the little girl and you can choose which one you like.
Reply:i think you should do her hair in a cute bun and have a little tiara of flowers around the bun, sleek, cute, and fitting:)genealogy mormon
