Flower Number, color and meaning...?

I want to send flowers to this girl who I like, for New Year. I'm pretty sure she likes me too...she's given me hints that the feeling is mutual.





I'm having problems with the bouquet that I want to send.


I want to send 6 light pink roses.





light pink stands for admiration and 6 means "I like you" (supposedly)





Now, I can't find any shops that has light pink roses, so I'm settling for pink roses, and upon researching even more, six roses also means that the sender "needs to be loved/cherished" I don't want to look desperate so I'm having second thoughts about sending six roses...





Now I'm leaning towards sending a dozen pink roses...


A dozen meaning "be my steady"





Do you think it would be too much for New Years?





I don't want it to be too forward...We're just sort of dating,,,so she's not my girlfriend yet, or at least I haven't asked her yet.





By the way, sending different type of flower (other than roses) is out of the question...

Well does she know what these flower colors and numbers mean? If not, then send six. She might feel overwhelmed with 12 since you're not officially together yet.
