Flower in hair on wedding day?

This is a little poll... if you wore a flower for your wedding, was it real or silk?





Would silk look cheap? Know any online stores that sell nice flower clips?

Flower in hair on wedding day?
I know many people on here think silk flowers look cheap. I asked about silk flowers once and I got about 40 answers all but about 6 said silk flowers are tacky. A great deal of our budget is going to floral decoration because of our wedding theme. We both have bad allergies and are getting silk. Although having our eyes red and swollen would make for some interesting photos LOL but no..





I say silk. Due to my allergies and what someone else saying about it dying and withering before the ceremony.

Reply:I used silk flowers for my wedding (except the flowers in the church), including my bouquet. If you get a high quality flower they look great. My flowers were as expensive as some people's real ones.





My friend wore a flower in her hair for her wedding and she looked beautiful. Her's was real.
Reply:For your hair, use silk. You don't want to have to worry about damaging it every time you or someone else touches your hair.
Reply:I'm wearing a single, realistic silk flower. It doesn't look cheap.





Go to Claire's. They have really good ones.
Reply:I'm thinking about wearing flowers but i'm gonna do silk only because a real one might die by the time we get to the reception. But I know a real flower would look alot nicer.skin disease
