If the structure of the flower of a rose was the same as the structure of a tulip, would reproduction occur if the pollinator carried pollen from the rose flower to an identical looking tulip flower?
Flower Question??? BIOLOGY HELP PLEASE?
Well I would'nt think so.A rose is a rose,a tulip is a tulip.They are different species.Or could a moth and a butterfly,regenerate if they looked similiar.No they could'nt
Reply:No; if the two flowers were of different species, no matter how similar they looked, they would have different chromosomal numbers and/or patterns, and would not be capable of cross-pollination.
Reply:Yes reproduction would occer.loan
