Flower Pressing?

I want to take up flower pressing. Do you know about the steps, the flowers that I can use and what I can do with the already pressed flowers? Also, how long does the process take?
Flower Pressing?
I just use wax paper and put them between pages of a book, wait a few days or so and there ya go.
Reply:It takes quite a while if not done right. First you need a really heavy book, and if you can't find a really heavy book, use several books, preferably of a large size. You need wax paper, and any flower will do although some press better than others, such as roses turn dark red but don't lose their scent, some retain their color, others pale or go a little bland. Then you can paste them onto paper and keep them in a handmade book or you can use them on cards or as part of wrapping gifts or whatever your imagination can come up with. You need to be careful though because the pressed flowers are very fragile. Good luck and have fun!fitness
