Flower for art?

Ok. I have to do a mood board on a flower of my choice.

After the mood board, we will be doing more work on the flower we pick. We don't actually have to have one of our flowers.

So. I want a nice flower, that will be easy to draw, yet still look really nice. Any ideas?
Flower for art?
An orchid, they are fantastic
Reply:The daffodil.

Vibrant colour, eye catching, good shape for drawing, changing aspects make it look different ie seen from the back, front, sides.

Loads of pics in plant catalogues, time of year to phograph them, images on net.

After the mood board it can be made from tissue paper, crepe paper, fabric, clay, plasticine, painted, drawn etc
Reply:How about a rose? They are fairly simple, can be a number of colours.

They are given for a number of reasons so you can portray in different ways if you have to do more art work on it. Rose petals etc

There certainly plenty of photos and links for roses.
Reply:love in a mist (Nigella Damascena)
Reply:I think tulip - it's simple, but pretty and easy to draw!!affiliate reviews
