Flower in hair for prom?

I want to wear a flower in my hair, but I'm not sure where to buy/get one. Will a florist attach one on a hair clip for me? I don't want a silk flower, because I think those look kinda corny.





My dress is gold so i want a small white flower. What types of flowers will look good, but also will not wilt as much through the night. Thanks guys!

ask a flower store if they can or just buy a clip and hot glue a fresh flower the day of prom. then once you have your hair the style you want, clip the flower in as the final touch. flowers look really good on the side of your head on the side your part is fullest. it will look really pretty.


i think a white rose or an orchid will look best

I was just looking at some really nice flowers ans roses for you! I think this 3 would look really nice for your dress, you can go to a florist and ask the you can make your own design at home, the first one its called Georgia state flower the 2nd on its daisy white and the 3rd on its white rose! try to look for them on yahoo ok I hope this helps, Have fun!
Reply:orchids are a big hit, and lillys... or something that is somewhat tropical looking... and with that gold dress you could do an orange, yellow, or even red flower.. it depends on the look of the flower and the style of the dress... this is a great idea...i bet..you will be the only one with a flower in your hair unless all your friends are doing it... have fun...good luck
Reply:something that is normally out in a corsage should suffice for your hairdo. Try getting a real rose or other pretty flower (I like hibiscus or hydragea) spray painted if you like... or whatever color you feel most complements gold.

a trick to prevent wilting is to spray some hairspray on the flower. it will preserve it for a while.

Reply:u can go to any jewlery store like claries to find one. or u can make ur own. go to walmart. and buy a lil plastic flower and attach it on to a pin by hot gluing it. i do it all tha time. havefun :)Soles
