Flower girl??

I'm gettin married in about a month, and I'm trying to figure out what my flower girl should carry. I getting married outdoors, so I'm not to sure about flower petals. What else could she carry? I have a ring bearer who has the pillow, and i have 3 BMs who have flowers.
Flower girl??
Your flower girl could just carry a small basket of flowers or maybe even a miniature bouquet like yours (assuming you are carrying flowers).
Reply:Peonies are nice!

If you can afford it, try Orchids.
Reply:I think it's nice just to have flowers in a cute little white basket, or maybe carrying a small, decorated wreath.
Reply:My girls are carrying KISSING BALLS. Have you ever seen those? They are very pretty.

Reply:You could make her a little bouquet inside the flower girl basket. She doesn't have to throw anything. I think the flowers in the basket would be beautiful.
Reply:Our wedding was outdoors and we had two flower girls with small baskets of flower petals. They were both so nervous, they never sprinkled the petals, but looked adorable anyway!

Go with a basket of petals or if no petals are allowed where you'll be, simply a small bouquet of the same flowers as the flower girls will be fine. One other thought -- you can release butterflies at the ceremony -- so have your flower girl carry the small box with the butterflies.
Reply:Honestly, depending on the age, most kids never even end up throwing the flowers! They just carry the basket down the aisle. I had an outdoor wedding and planned on having them toss petals...why not? That's kinda the whole premise being a "flower"girl. And they looks so darn cute doing it!

And OH MY GOSH, whatever you do, PLEASE, don't have children carry candles. That is the worst idea I have ever heard!
Reply:if you're going to have an aisle runner, you could let them drop glitter or that really cute metallic confetti. leaves would also work. or if you dont want them to drop anything, you could just make them miniature bouquet.
Reply:I had a flower ball for my flower girl. No petals, nothing to sweep up.
Reply:My daughter is getting married this coming Saturday--she wasn't allowed to have any petals thrown-her flower girl is just carrying a small version of different flowers.
Reply:maybe you could have her carry unlit candles. if your not using them in your wedding, have her carry your bird see to pass out at the end of your wedding. ( 4 people to throw)
Reply:just an idea...
