Does anyone know about the ANAHI flower and legend?

Hey there - I have heard the legend of Queen Anahi, who was put to death for leading the resistance of her city against the foreign invaders - she was tied to a tree and burned. The story has it that, when consumed by flames, her body turned into the most beautiful flower...

Some sources online have said that this is the Seibo (or 'Ceibo' flower) - a red flower from Paraguay/Uruguay - but others say that the flower is actually called 'Anahi' and is a white flower...

Anyone got any ideas? My lovely girlfriend is named Anahi, after the rebel queen (unbelievably fitting, but anyway) and I really want to find these flowers, or at least a painting of them...

All thoughts/comments/ideas appreciated... thanks - james

I dont think the whole turning into a flower thing is true, although I do not support them killing her if she was defending herself and her lands and she was doing it fair and for the right reasons.

I suggest you search www.wikipedia.com

I believe they will have a yellowpage.com link if you are looking to buy them or see a store which sells them as well.

Thanks for your time and Peace.
